Books, dreams, travels: the return of Hugo
The Fortuny Museum in Venice in the tenth anniversary of Hugo Pratt's death hosts an outstanding exhibition devoted to the great cartoonist: Books, dreams, travels. The return of Hugo', traces the artist's career and his work's main themes through 35 panels and, in addiction, documentary movies, magic boxes, models and dioramas. This exhibition follows the cartoonist's career and his artistic and human experience through a series of informal meetings. The exhibition is started at the December 2005, with Mario Faustinelli, Giorgio Bellavitis, Ivo Pavone, Alberto Ongaro, Nino Vascon recalling the atmosphere and splendour of the successful comic book whose protagonist was Asso di Picche, the brave masked avenger born from Hugo's pencil, with texts written by Ongaro and Faustinelli together with Dino Battaglia. And this exhibition will take place till 28 February 2006.
