La Scala Palace is a small, intimate hotel that offers to its hosts a tranquil oasis even though its just a few steps from the Rialto Bridge and St. Marks Square. La Scala Palace offers 12 rooms and suites, finely furnished with boiserie, light airy colors, and walls decorated with Venetian calce rasata, a sort of lime. The ceilings with visible beams complete the much evocative atmosphere with the maximum attention to the details. In the respect of the original architecture of this mansion, completely restored at the beginning of 2002, a modern lift catches up all the floors and gives easy access to the rooms, all soundproofed. Full breakfast is offered in Sala Specchi where in the afternoon it is possible to relax and watch TV, read a book or better yet, while drinking a cup of coffee listen to good music.
